To take part, you do not need to be a diver or swimmer; all you need is a sense of adventure!
Seated one behind the other at an adjustable height, you can drive the scooter alone or with others. You can breathe normally inside a large common transparent and panoramic glass dome and enjoy a 360-degree panoramic view.
You will get a full view of the reef and the marine life of Mauritius, as well as learn about its marine flora and fauna. During this adventure, you can communicate with your partner, and have fun.
You will start the excursion by boarding a transfer boat to the operation platform. Where you will discover the underwater scooter.
Before the tour start, you will get a briefing about how to manage the underwater scooter. You will be provided with a wetsuit to keep you warm while diving and to ensure your safety.
The scooter is simple to operate, with a simple steering wheel. Two accelerator pedals for forward movement, and a simple button to control the depth. It’s as simple as pressing a button to dive or ascend to the sea surface. The air inside the dome is constantly being regenerated and an emergency air system ensures perfect safety.
There is also an alarm button that, at any time during your underwater cruise, can draw the attention of the diver guide who is accompanying you.
Everything has been planned for your comfort upon your return:
A shower where you can desalinate and a changing room where you can change.
Before returning to shore, you will be served refreshments.
The underwater trip lasts about 40 minutes, and the entire excursion lasts about 2 hours.
Please keep in mind that this excursion can be done in a group, i.e. 5 scooters at a time (with 10 people).
All underwater scooters have been approved and certified by international authorities. Mainly for design and sea safety.
The activity lasts 2 hours, with about 40 minutes spent underwater. (The activity includes boat transportation, a full briefing, preparation, and a refreshment break.)
To operate the sub scooter, you do not need to be a diver or swimmer
