Ile aux Cerf’s Catamaran Cruise – Full day trip on the East Coast of Mauritius

Discover Mauritius differently by spending a whole day between sky and sea. Starting point is at Trou D’eau Douce where you board the Catamaran to sail along the picturesque landscape of the east coast. This region has a rich historical past and witnessed several skirmishes between English and French in the 18th century. It is also the spot where the Dutch settlers landed.

Sometimes during this trip you will be able to see whales as well as dolphins. If this will happen, the crew will stop the boat, in order for you to observe these great animals from close in their natural environment. After the snorkeling you will enjoy a full delicious BBQ lunch buffet set on the beach or on the catamaran. Please note that the menu includes only fresh fish, fresh chicken and a selection of fresh salads. If you are a vegetarian, please advise us before, so we can arrange the necessary additions to the lunch.

Then you will be heading to Ile aux Cerfs Island which is a beautiful island near the east coast of Mauritius. This amazing paradise island is the perfect setting for a relaxing day of sun worship. As you approach the island by boat, you will see the swaying palm trees and the pure white beaches framed by the vivid turquoise waters.

On Ile aux Cerfs Island you are sure to have some relaxation and fun on one of the picture-postcard beaches or enjoy a swim and/or snorkel in the azure sea. You can also take advantage of the wide range of facilities on the island and the various water sports activities found there.

Let the afternoon sea breeze carry you back to Trou-Deau-Douce village to board your coach back to the hotel or Bungalow.

Ile aux Benitiers Catamaran Cruise- Full day trip on the West Coast of Mauritius

This unique sea exploration starts at Black River a picturesque fishing village on the foot of the Black River Mountain Range. The cruise will head to the South West coast of Mauritius which is considered one of the best places to see when visiting Mauritius – place of unique wildness and tranquility.

You will experience sailing on a great catamaran and will most likely encounter dolphins in Tamarin Bay. During the cruise, the catamaran will stop for breaks in some key locations, where you can enjoy a swim and some snorkeling in the sea or enjoy the sun and drinks on board the catamaran. It is a great way to have a glimpse into the beauty of Mauritius’ amazing marine life and underwater world.

The cruise will continue to the beautiful Ile aux Benitiers a small islet in the La Gaulette Bay. Before arriving to the Island you will see the Crystal Rock and enjoying a spectacular view of the majestic Rempart Mountain and Black River Range. The magnificent Le Morne Brabant Mountain will give the fascinate background on your photos during your journey.

A delicious BBQ lunch with fresh fish and chicken, a variety of salad and drinks is served on the island white sandy beach under the shadow of the numerous Casuarinen trees. After lunch you will have time to relax – take a sunbath on the beach or a swim in the crystal-clear water, stroll around the little island or explore the amazing lagoons and coral reefs around the island.

Ilôt Gabriel Catamaran Cruise- Full day trip on the North Coast of Mauritius

This day cruise full of sun, drinks, good food and a lot of fun start in Grand Bay. Leaving the magnificent Grand Bay and sail along Coin de Mire Island with its colony of “Pailles en Queue” Birds, before reaching the northern islet Ilôt Gabriel. The island is most famous for its beautiful coastal sand dune vegetation and crystal clear water.

Breathtaking views back to Mauritius and to the outer islets around will surely animate to lots of photos. The catamaran will anchor between two small islands, Flat Island on the left and Gabriel Island on the right. Explore the unspoiled shells and magnificent corals of the Island before having a delicious BBQ lunch on board.

During the sail back to Grand Bay you can enjoy light snacks, the bar services and the live music.
